Job To: Executive Vice President - Engineering, Construction & Operations at Fleet Data Centers
Eric Wilcox is the Executive Vice President of Data Center Design, Construction, and Operations at Fleet Data Centers, a new mega-scale data centre development platform focused on customized 500MW+ campuses.
Having worked within the data centre and IT industry for nearly 30 years, Eric holds an engineering focus on data centre infrastructure and enterprise IT power and cooling.
He has worked at big technology companies like EMC, Dell, Vertiv and most recently led the Data Center Engineering global organisation for tech giant AWS for the past six years. His expertise spans all data centre disciplines, including civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, cooling, controls, fire systems, acoustics and both embedded and in-rack power.
Eric has focused primarily on engineering execution over the course of his career but has also engaged directly with customers to collaborate on technical solutions.
Fleet Data Centers entered the market in 2025 with a specific focus on mega-scale campuses with a prioritised target of single-user campuses.
The Fleet Data Center team consists of industry veterans who have already made a lasting imprint on the evolution of global digital infrastructure and believe they are uniquely capable of upleveling data center development scale and operations in the face of rising demand.
