Having worked at the intersection of sustainability and communications for the last 15 years, John is an experienced leader. Now heading the sustainability development at EcoDataCentre, John is the Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer for the sustainable data centre solutions provider.

Bryant Farland, CEO at Edged Data Centers

A seasoned expert in the data centre industry, Bryant has more than two decades of experience in leading mission-critical infrastructure projects. Currently, he is the CEO of Edged Data Centers overseeing the rapid deployment of the North American portfolio for sustainable data centres and supporting technology. 

Bryant is also a member of the Industry Advisory Council for the United States Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings and frequently presents at national conferences for large-scale infrastructure development and alternative delivery.

Speaking at Data Centre LIVE, Both John and Bryant will be taking part in the Data Centre Sustainability Panel. During the panel, the two – alongside other panellists – will address the pressing issue of sustainability in the data centre sector. 

Both John and Bryant will examine the strategies for reducing the environmental impact of data centres including energy efficient measures, renewable energy adoption and waste management practices. 

Key topics will include the implementation of green technologies, achieving sustainability certifications and the role of innovation in driving more eco-friendly data centre operations.
