Ben Wulf
President and CEO
Ben Wulf is the President and CEO of Portacool, America’s leading portable evaporative cooling business. Having started out packing boxes for the same company over 20 years ago, Wulf joined the executive team in 2008, and has since been a key stakeholder in the organization. Wulf is a charismatic leader, one with grace and generous amounts of empathy, and these principles have seeped through the organization’s core values. Keeping a people-centric focus in mind, Wulf’s leadership strategy is directed towards being a servant leader, one who learns through his peers, keeps an open mind and doesn’t expect others to do what he can’t. The same can be said about his involvement with the community of Center, Texas, where Portacool’s headquarters are based. Wulf is deeply involved with paying back the community and has seen the launch of Portacool Park, among others, during his tenure with the organization. Innovation is another factor that drives Portacool, with the baseline strategy of serving the community and its people still at its very core.
