This Week: What to Expect from us at MWC Barcelona 2024
Data Centre Magazine, alongside our sister publications, Mobile Magazine and FinTech Magazine, are partnering with Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona.
Taking place from 26-29th February 2024, the event is being held in Barcelona’s iconic Fira Gran Via venue.
This year’s event theme is Future First, which aims to work towards solving the challenges of today and tomorrow. Future First is supported by the MWC agenda and shaped by six sub-themes, reflecting the latest trends and technologies across the industry.

Leading the next era of data centre innovation
Key initiatives from the theme include: 5G and Beyond, Connecting Everything, Humanising AI, Manufacturing DX, Game Changers and Our Digital DNA.
There will be plenty to see for data centre companies around the world looking to innovate further with new technologies like AI, edge computing and other digital transformation strategies.
MWC Barcelona will also be a great place for those within the technology sector to network and catch up on the latest digital trends, brought together by the GSMA Ministerial Programme. Ministers, heads of regulatory authorities and policymakers come to MWC every year to meet with mobile industry CEOs and senior representatives of international organisations, share knowledge and evolve priority policy and regulatory issues.
The attendees list includes senior executives from the top global companies, international governments and industry-leading technology businesses, with speakers such as:

- Jim Dukhovny, CEO of Alef Aeronautics, who will share his experience designing and developing flying cars
