CEO credits culture and innovation

“Compass' growth is directly attributable to a culture that encourages us to be bold, curious and unafraid to fail as we pursue new opportunities to do things differently... and better,” says Chris Crosby, CEO of Compass.

“We're constantly pioneering and improving our designs and standard kit-of-parts to responsibly serve the growing demand for data in an AI-driven world, to create advantages for our customers.

“We have an incredibly talented team of really smart people and partners who make this growth possible.”

Compass focuses on designing and delivering data centres for the world’s largest hyperscalers and cloud providers

Its approach is built around large-scale, single-tenant campus projects, modular designs and a manufacturing-style construction process.

This model enables faster delivery and a lower total cost of ownership, giving the company a competitive advantage in a market experiencing unprecedented demand for capacity.

Compass Datacenters builds and operates hyperscale and cloud data centres.

Meeting hyperscale demand with speed and scale

The data centre industry has seen heightened investment in facilities capable of supporting AI workloads, cloud growth and digital transformation.

Compass’ modular build strategy allows it to meet hyperscaler requirements for both speed and efficiency, while maintaining standardised quality across projects.

By combining campus-scale developments with a standard kit-of-parts, Compass can replicate proven designs in multiple locations while adapting to local conditions and customer needs.

This approach has helped the company capitalise on rising demand for hyperscale and enterprise-scale deployments.
