Steve Bowes-Phipps – State Street Bank & Trust – VP EMEA Data Centres & Cloud

Steve Bowes-Phipps, VP EMEA Data Centres & Cloud, and, Advisor to the Board at the Data Centre Alliance at State Street Bank & Trust

Steve is the VP of EMEA Data Centres & Cloud at State Street and serves as Advisor to the Board at the Data Centre Alliance.

With over 35 years of operational systems management experience, he leads on data centre transformation, engineering and operations. He oversees major infrastructure projects, having delivered colocation builds across Europe while at GlobalCenter. 

Steve was the Head of Data Centres at the University of Hertfordshire, where he helped embed Green IT with JISC and led the university to become the first in Europe to meet the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres. He also advises on global data centre standards.

Charlotte Berry-Selwood – AVK – Chief Delivery Officer

Charlotte Berry-Selwood, Chief Delivery Officer at AVK, joined the company in August 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience in data centre development and project delivery experience. Progressing from hands-on project delivery roles to senior leadership positions, Charlotte has led both commercial and development functions across multiple international markets.

With a career that bridges project management, commercial strategy and advocacy for diversity and inclusion, she has played a key role in shaping the sector’s evolution.

From overseeing large-scale international projects to co-founding the Forum of Women in Data Centres (FWD), Charlotte continues to drive innovation and representation through her leadership, mentorship and thought leadership across the industry.

Paul Greenley – Vodafone – Senior Principal Manager, Group Data Centres

Paul Greenley, Senior Principal Manager, Group Data Centres at Vodafone

With over 40 years of experience in data centre operations, Paul is the Senior Principal Manager DC Infrastructure & Facilities, Group Data Centres at Vodafone. He has built an extensive career spanning service delivery, outsourcing and strategic management of complex infrastructure environments. 

His expertise covers the full spectrum of data centre operations – from directing large-scale facilities and developing long-term strategies to driving efficiency and cost optimisation. 

Having worked internationally across the UK government as well as major enterprises in Canada and the US, Paul is recognised for his results-driven leadership and commitment to operational excellence.
