Here are three of the speakers recently announced for the event.

Oliver Schiebel, CEO of Hscale

Oliver Schiebel, CEO of Hscale

​​​​​​​Oliver is CEO at Hscale with nearly 20 years of experience in data centres, cloud services and telecommunications. 

He leads the design, build and operation of energy-efficient data centres tailored to customer needs and long-term growth. Oliver supports clients in cutting costs, managing risk and scaling effectively with infrastructure designed for performance. 

His expertise spans data centre management, energy efficiency, sales, strategic planning and business development. 

With a focus on hyperscale infrastructure, Oliver delivers solutions that prioritise sustainability while adding measurable value for clients across the European data centre landscape.

Abed Jishi, CTO at Hscale

Abed Jishi, CTO at Hscale

Abed is CTO at Hscale and brings over 19 years of experience in data centre design and engineering, with a strong track record in delivering and standardising hyperscale infrastructure across EMEA. 

His background covers product design, master planning, technical operations and lifecycle engineering, always with a focus on speed, sustainability and customer needs.

In his work, Abed connects design strategy to commercial outcomes, ensuring infrastructure is built for performance, flexibility and scale. 

As CTO, Abed’s work supports the growing demands of AI and cloud, enabling data centres that are efficient, future-ready and aligned with business objectives.  

Ben Krikler, Founding Head of Energised Futures and Director of Research and Innovation at Centrica

Ben Krikler, Head of Energised Futures and Director of Research and Innovation at Centrica

Ben is the Founding Head of Energised Futures and Director of Research and Innovation at Centrica. He launched Energised Futures in 2024 to boost innovation in the energy sector. 

A physicist and technologist turned social entrepreneur, Ben became Centrica’s Director of Research & Innovation in 2022. He holds a PhD from Imperial College London for work on the COMET experiment in Japan and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Bristol. 

He co-founded and is the CEO of RemotelyGreen, a platform encouraging online events over travel. Ben brings academic knowledge and commercial experience to advancing a more sustainable energy future.
