Nebius has begun construction of a 400-acre AI factory campus in Independence, Missouri, marking a significant expansion of US AI infrastructure.
The gigawatt-scale development is designed to support high-density AI workloads, reflecting growing demand for hyperscale facilities capable of delivering the power, cooling and compute needed for generative AI.
Backed by NVIDIA, the project is expected to create more than 1,300 jobs and strengthen Missouri’s position as an emerging hub for next-generation digital infrastructure.
