Jose Ruiz - Senior Director of xScale at Equinix

 

Jose Ruiz joined Equinix in 2018 as the Senior Director of xScale, the company’s hyperscale product which helps service the needs of the top 12 global SaaS, cloud, and technology providers. Before joining Equinix, Ruiz worked for both Digital Realty as a Sales Engineer, and Compass Datacenters as the VP of Operations and Engineering. Ruiz also previously served for the US Navy and the US Navy Reserve, where he was awarded two Navy Achievement Medals for leadership and outstanding performance.

 

Alex Sharp - Global Head of Data Centre Design and Construction at Iron Mountain Data Centers

 

Alex Sharp joined Iron Mountain Data Centers in 2019 as Global Head of Design and Construction. Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Sharp was Global Head of Projects and Construction for CBR Data Center Solutions. He joined CBRE from Mace Limited where for 8 years he was Senior Managing Director of the company’s data centre construction business. Sharp is an Electrical and Electronic Engineer and one of Europe’s leading data centre builders with the ambition to further develop and grow Iron Mountains Data Centers’ business by building sustainable data centre facilities.

 

Amy Daniell - Director Hyperscale, Global Data Centres EMEA at NTT

 

Amy Daniell originally graduated from the University of Reading having read Law, but has spent nearly a decade in the data centre and construction industry. Before joining NTT in 2019, Daniell worked as the Director of Mission Critical EMEA and APAC at AECOM, and as the Director of Data Centre Engineering at Microsoft. Daniell has spent most of her career delivering data centre solutions for clients such as Vodafone,  Ericsson, IBM, and Dell. Now working as the Director of Hyperscale, Global Data Centres EMEA, Daniell is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with household industry names.

 

Robbie Mcghie - SVP Construction at Vantage Data Centres

 

Robbie Mcghie has had an extensive career in the data centre and construction industries, having previously worked for Interxion, CE Colo and VIRTUS Data Centres. He now works as the current SVP of Construction, Europe, at Vantage Data Centers where he is responsible for delivering all new data centres across its European markets.

 

Laramie Dorris - VP of Design & Construction, Americas at Yondr Group

 

Laramie Dorris is still relatively new to the Yondr Group team, only having been appointed as VP of Design and Construction, Americas, in April 2021. Previously, Dorris worked in the construction and data centre industry for various companies, including CyrusOne, where he worked as the Director of Data Centre Design and Construction for three years before being promoted to VP of Data Centre Design and Construction in November 2015.

 

Tony Jacob - VP Design and Construction at Digital Realty

 

Tony Jacob has worked as the VP of Design and Construction (EMEA) for Interxion: a Digital Realty Company, for the past three years and his responsibilities lay across the following areas; 1. Design, 2. Construction, 3. Commissioning and EHSQ and 4. Cost Management. Jacob also holds a BsC Honours degree in Quantity Surveying, where he focused on Building Construction Technology, Law, Economics and Leadership as well as obtaining a certification from the Royal Institute Chartered Surveyors.

 

Brittany Miller - VP Design, Construction and Supply Chain at NTT Global Data Centers Americas

 

Brittany Miller graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science and Construction-Engineering and has since held various positions with the technology industry, including AMER Data Center Supply Chain Director for Microsoft and Tool Install Construction Contracts Manager for Intel Corporation. Currently working as the VP Design, Construction and Supply Chain at NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Miller is skilled in supply chain, negotiation, construction, supplier management, market research, and manufacturing.

 

Andy Garvin - Director of Design, Construction and Operations at Ark Data Centres

 

Andy Garvin has worked at Ark Data Centres, the socially responsible data centre operator, for over a decade and has been the Director of Construction since 2018. He is responsible for managing all construction activities across the businesses portfolio and has worked on many multi-million pound projects in his career. Garvin is an engineer by trade and holds a degree from the University of Plymouth in Engineering and Civil Engineering. 

 

Doug Mouton - VP Global Datacenter Construction at Microsoft

 

Doug Mouton has worked at Microsoft for the past 6 years, and was recently appointed as VP of Global Datacenter Construction in September 2020. Before this promotion, Mouton worked as the General Manager, Global Data Center Execution (DCX), General Manager, Construction, and General Manager Global Datacenter Procurement and Construction during his time at Microsoft. Mouton also served as a Citizen soldier in the Louisiana National Guard for over 30 years.

 

Denise Breen - Head of Construction at Colt Data Centre Services

 

Denise Breen has over 35yrs experience in design, construction, project management and facilities management in Europe, the United States and Asia. Breen has had an extensive career in the technology industry, working for some of the world’s biggest tech companies, including Google, Iron Mountain, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). She was recently appointed as the Head of Construction at Colt Data Centre Services in February 2021 where she leads a high-performing global team of Project & Construction Managers across EMEA and APAC.
