The data landscape is changing, causing data centres to expand in order to meet global data and technology demands.
According to Exploding Topics, around 147 zettabytes of data will be generated in 2024, which will rise to 181 zettabytes in 2025. Currently, videos account for more than half of internet traffic. With these facts in mind, it is essential for the data centre industry to find new ways to innovate to meet rising customer demand for data, whilst keeping emissions down.
- According to the latest estimates, 402.74 million terabytes of data are created each day.
