Webinar: Wednesday 17th June 2026
As AI compute densifies, data movement, cooling and optical interconnects are becoming critical to performance and scale.

About

AI infrastructure is entering a new era: compute is getting denser, hotter, and more efficient. As a result, moving data across the network quickly and efficiently is becoming the real constraint.

This webinar explores why data movement is emerging as the next bottleneck in AI performance and why energy, thermal, interconnect, and site-level efficiency now define competitive advantage. We’ll examine the shift from electrical to optical connectivity, the rise of liquid cooling as racks break traditional power limits, and the emergence of scale-across architectures as AI clusters outgrow the boundaries of a single data center site.

Speakers

Clayton Wager, Leader, AI and High Performance Networking, at Nokia.

Clayton leads AI and High-Performance Computing field activities for the Network Infrastructure Group at Nokia. He previously has served in both the development and deployment of many major technology shifts, including broadband, metro Ethernet, and over-the-top video streaming. Additionally, he is a part of a non-profit foundation serving North America’s largest motion picture studio, where he consults on the intersection between technology and storytelling.
