Data Center Partners Munich
Data Center Advisors has formally rebranded as Data Center Partners Munich, which will see the company cover the value chain of data centre development

Data Center Advisors (DCA) has rebranded as Data Center Partners (DCP) Munich, which will see a big change in its approach to the data centre sector.

“In an effort to reflect the strong development of the company, now covering the full value-added chain of data centre development, the new brand DCP highlights the organisation’s commitment to innovation, growth and its evolving role as a comprehensive provider of sustainable data centre solutions,” shares Dr. Christopher Stief, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at DCP.

Simplifying the journey towards sustainable data centres

The DCA (not to be confused with the Data Centre Alliance) was founded in 2021 and is based in Munich with 25 employees, operating from all over the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

DCP has a focus on colocation and hyperscale data centres, covering the key stages of the data centre lifecycle, from first development to operations across DACH.

"Over the years, we have expanded beyond our initial consulting approach. Thanks to our talented team, the company has evolved into a versatile player in the industry,” says Gian-Marco Krömer, Chief Commercial Officer at DCP. “We are committed to simplifying our customers' journey towards sustainable data centres by providing everything they need from a single, reliable source."

Benefits for data centre clients and partners

From edge data centres and colocation facilities, up to hyperscale projects and AI-driven data centres, through DCP’s rebranding the company will offer integrated solutions which lower the need for multiple providers. This comprehensive approach will enhance efficiency, accelerate timelines and optimise workflow management.

Strengths of DCP include:

Off market site identification

With a strong level of trust in the industry associated with a wide network, the DCP Team is able to identify opportunities before anyone in the business within the DACH region.

Development

Due to its local network, the DCP team can develop a strategic piece of land into a key data centre asset, with power, as well as building and environmental permits.

Construction

DCP can move into the next level of investment, going into the construction stage of the data centre asset.

ESG centric approach

DCP only develops data centres with an ESG-centric approach, combining reliable design, highest energy efficiency and heat recovery solutions to enhance its path towards net zero.

CEO Dr. Christopher Stief has spent years paving the way for sustainable data centre operations

In addition to his work at DCP, Dr. Christopher Stief is the Co-Founder of DATA CASTLE

He has a PhD from Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Alliant University of San Diego, California.

Dr Stief started his professional career at Amazon in Strategic Development, in 2015. “That was a company I liked and I liked the business model,” he says. “Especially how the cloud started to get bigger and bigger at that time.”

During this time, Dr Stief realised that AWS was an interesting part of Amazon’s business.

“When you looked at the growth rates, Amazon.com was awesome, but the AWS numbers were insane. That was the reason I realised that this was a super interesting business model and I tapped into AWS and the entire cloud business.”
