Digital Realty and Console Connect are broadening their strategic collaboration to boost global connectivity to new markets across the data centre industry

Announcing a significant expansion of their strategic collaboration, Digital Realty and Console Connect are committing to boosting global connectivity

The partnership aims to extend the reach of Digital Realty’s ServiceFabric offering to several new markets around the world, whilst also building on their successful collaboration that was first established in 2022. Both companies are seeking to provide businesses with enhanced options to connect to enterprises and partners worldwide across any location, at any time.

“Our expanded collaboration with Console Connect underscores our commitment to providing seamless, scalable, and secure interconnection solutions for enterprises worldwide,” says Scott Mills, Senior Vice President, Product and Engineering, Digital Realty.

Boosting interconnectivity for AI and the cloud

Through a seamless API integration with the Console Connect platform, users of Digital Realty’s ServiceFabric are able to gain access to on-demand connectivity to more than 100 new third-party data centres.

This includes many facilities located in key metro areas across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions, where demand for connectivity from businesses continues to grow.

Likewise, the partnership will provide access to more than 75 new cloud on-ramps, which the companies say will enrich the global connectivity options available to enterprises across Digital Realty’s PlatformDIGITAL offerings.

Adding these new sites mean that ServiceFabric can now be more accessible, with more than 600 data centres globally. This hopes to provide more interconnection opportunities and support digital businesses as they face higher demands than ever before – including private connections for AI applications and joint expansion of respective AI Exchange ecosystems.

Digital Realty's ServiceFabric is a global service delivery platform that is designed to offer an on-demand suite of wide-ranging services. The company says the platform is designed to transform data centres into dynamic AI hubs that ensure secure and scalable infrastructure management.

Users can also connect their data exchange centres easily using ServiceFabric at PlatformDIGITAL.

Scott adds: “By leveraging Console Connect’s platform and the robust PCCW Global network, we’re enabling more customers to accelerate their digital transformation, drive AI adoption, and connect to a broader ecosystem of partners and services across diverse geographies including growing markets in Africa and the Middle East.”

Building a networking ecosystem

The expanded partnership strengthens Digital Realty and Console Connect’s leadership across its data centre, Network-as-a-Service and AI Exchange solutions. Integrating at a deeper level can also drive joint customer success and provide on-demand access to a broad ecosystem of networks, partners and services.
