Will Digital Realty’s New Collaboration Boost Enterprise AI?

North American company and provider of carrier-neutral data centre, colocation and interconnection solutions, Digital Realty has partnered with Dell Technologies and DXC to collaborate and solve the challenges posed by enterprise AI, speed up outcomes and optimise deployments.
This venture will bring a multitude of AI benefits, including bringing AI directly to customers’ data – safely and securely. The use of AI will be on customers' terms, using validated use cases, private AI solutions and end-to-end management with expert-led implementation.
"AI is transforming how organisations operate and innovate, but realising its full potential requires infrastructure, strategy and operational expertise to work together seamlessly," says Colin McLean, Chief Revenue Officer at Digital Realty.
"Our collaboration with Dell and DXC helps customers solve real problems, move faster and scale AI initiatives more securely – helping bring actionable intelligence directly to their data and business operations."
Enterprise will gain access to a comprehensive suite of transformation services and AI through the deployment of the Dell AI Factory, which includes Dell PowerEdge servers, the Dell AI Data Platform and Dell Networking with Digital Realty's global data centre platform, PlatformDIGITAL®, and utilising DXC's implementation and end-to-end operational management. These support the delivery of measurable business value.
Customer benefits
- Dell AI Factory deployed at PlatformDIGITAL®: Combining these platforms enables customers to have both a secure and scalable environment to apply and design private AI infrastructure, merging the Dell AI Factory with DXC 's operational expertise, and fully integrated at PlatformDIGITAL®.

- Expert-led enablement implementation and ongoing transformation services: Delivered by DXC in collaboration with Digital Realty and Dell, customers are equipped with both the skills and architecture to operationalise AI effectively.
Holland Barry, Global Field Chief Technology Officer at DXC Technology says: "AI success requires more than infrastructure, it demands the right people, processes and technology.
"Together with Dell's validated designs and Digital Realty's infrastructure, DXC brings implementation and secure end-to-end management services that help enterprises turn AI ambition into business outcomes, faster and with greater impact."
What does the collaboration mean for enterprises?
The collaboration between the three companies means that enterprises are able to efficiently configure, deploy and scale repeatable frameworks hosted in Digital Realty’s high-density colocation data centres with PlatformDIGITAL®, powered by the Dell AI Factory and planned, implemented, and operationalised by DXC.
Using an integrated approach supports the delivery of a more simplistic path from AI concept to production – all while reducing complex operations and allowing secure proximity to data-hybrid clouds and enterprise environments via ServiceFabric®, Digital Realty's interconnection and orchestration solution.
"The collaboration between Digital Realty, Dell and DXC highlights how strategic ecosystem alliances can drive faster adoption of AI enabled data-centric hybrid IT infrastructure,” says Courtney Munroe, Research Vice President, IDC.
“By merging extensive global infrastructure with practical solutions, real-world use cases and deep technical expertise, this collaboration enables enterprises to simplify operations, accelerate deployment and unlock the full potential of their data as a strategic asset.”
