1. Kalay Moodley

Job From: Director, HR Business Partner UK & HQUK (EMEA), Digital Realty

Job To: Chief People Officer, Kao Data

Kao Data, the specialist developer and operator of data centres engineered for AI and advanced computing, has announced it has appointed Kalay Moodley as its new Chief People Officer (CPO).

A highly experienced HR Director, with an outstanding track record for developing and executing strategic initiatives to accelerate commercial success, Moodley joins Kao Data following a long-standing career in the technology, digital infrastructure and healthcare sectors.

Born and raised in South Africa - and with HR qualifications from both the University of London and the University of South Africa - Kalay joins Kao Data most recently from Digital Realty, where she led a high-performing team responsible for spearheading the organisation's recruitment strategy.

As Kao Data’s new Chief People Officer, Moodley will now be responsible for leading its human resources function, embedding new operational frameworks and change management strategies, and harmonising both the company’s talent acquisition and recruitment processes to underpin its strategic growth ambitions

2. Christian Belady

Christian Belady

Scala Data Centers has announced the appointment of Christian Belady to its Board. Renowned for his contributions during his tenure at Microsoft, Belady brings four decades of invaluable industry experience, a track record of over 150 patents and industry experience of being at the forefront of revolutionising global energy efficiency standards within the data centre sector.

3. Dana Adams

Job From: Chief Operating Officer, AirTrunk

Job To: President North America, Vantage Data Centers

Dana Adams

Adams joins Vantage Data Centers’ executive leadership team as its new President of North America, bringing nearly 18 years of experience in the data centre sector to the company. Based in Denver, she will oversee the region’s growth, including market development, sales, construction and operations.

4. David Howson

Job From: Chief Operating Officer at Congruex

Job To: President EMEA, Vantage Data Centers

David Howson

Vantage has announced David Howson as President of EMEA to spearhead the company’s growth, overseeing market development, sales, construction and operations across the region. A seasoned veteran with more than 30 years of international internet infrastructure experience, Howson recently served as COO at Congruex, a national end-to-end provider of digital network services.

5. Nat Sahlstrom

Job To (include company name): Chief Energy Officer, Tract

Nat Sahlstrom

Tract has announced Nat Sahlstrom as its new Chief Energy Officer. In 12 years at Amazon,  Sahlstrom built a global energy business that is now the world's largest corporate buyer of renewable energy. At Tract, he will lead the team focused on securing energy infrastructure, renewable energy and the strategic transformation of power systems to meet the needs of hyperscale data centre campuses of the future.

6. Michael Dada

Job From: Head of A&T Data Centre Solutions, CBRE Germany

Job To: Managing Director, Virtus Germany

Michael Dada

Virtus Data Centres has appointed Michael Dada as the Managing Director for VIRTUS Germany. This strategic move reinforces Virtus’ commitment to expanding its footprint across Europe. Dada, who joined Virtus in January 2024, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business in Germany, including expansions, sales, data centre design, construction and operations.
