Digital governance and partner collaboration

One of Huawei’s major announcements at GITEX 2025 is the introduction of GovTech 1.0, a digital framework that aims to accelerate government modernisation. Built on four pillars – application intelligentisation, data harmonisation, platform standardisation and network broadbandisation – the framework supports the creation of AI-ready government systems and end-to-end data management.

Allen Tang, President of ICT Marketing and Solution Sales Department for Huawei Middle East and Central Asia

“GovTech 1.0 framework is a strategic blueprint designed to fast-track government modernisation,” says Allen Tang, President of ICT Marketing and Solution Sales Department for Huawei Middle East and Central Asia.

This approach reinforces Huawei’s strategy of aligning its data infrastructure with national digital transformation programmes. By enhancing government data centres and platforms, the company aims to improve efficiency, security and service delivery across public sectors.

Partnership remains a central part of Huawei’s regional strategy. The company has launched more than 20 new industry-specific solutions and 30 products targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises, supported by its new Partner Park and Accelerated Growth Partner incentives. Over 100 expert-led sessions and forums at GITEX are also being hosted by Huawei, covering AI infrastructure, cybersecurity and digital power systems.

Securing AI and advancing cloud innovation

As Lead Sponsor of GITEX Cyber Valley – organised in partnership with the UAE Cybersecurity Council – Huawei is focusing on protecting AI and data centre ecosystems through advanced security technologies.

Sean Yang, Huawei’s Global Cyber Security and Privacy Officer

“The rise of AI introduces complex risks that demand a new level of resilience and trust,” says Sean Yang, Huawei’s Global Cyber Security and Privacy Officer. “Huawei is focused on helping organisations safeguard data infrastructures through advanced governance and technical safeguards.”

Sean introduces the company’s Xinghe Intelligent SASE Solutions, an AI-driven security architecture designed for multi-cloud environments. These tools integrate identity management, data protection and threat detection into one intelligent platform to enhance network reliability.

Huawei is also demonstrating its next-generation 5.5G network capabilities, supporting faster connectivity and higher throughput for AI workloads. Its B2B Digital Transformation Forum explores how carriers can use AI to optimise network efficiency and capture new business opportunities.

In cloud computing, Huawei continues its transition from Cloud-native to AI-native infrastructure, unveiling services such as Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) and integrated tools like ModelArts and DataArts Studio. These solutions simplify AI model training, orchestration and analytics, enabling enterprises to scale AI development securely within their own data centre environments.

Huawei’s commitment to digital inclusion extends to education through its Smart Education Forum, co-organised with UNESCO, which explores how intelligent learning platforms can make education more accessible and equitable worldwide.

Through its participation at GITEX 2025, Huawei reinforces its long-term goal to create an open, trusted and intelligent digital ecosystem built on secure and sustainable data infrastructure. Its focus on AI-ready data centres, cybersecurity and cloud innovation positions the company at the centre of the region’s accelerating digital transformation.
