Axiado secures US$100m+ Series C+ funding to expand its hardware-anchored security and system management for AI data centres worldwide

Axiado Corporation confirms the close of its oversubscribed Series C+ funding round, raising more than US$100 million to scale hardware-anchored security and system management solutions purpose-built for AI data centres.

The round is led by Maverick Silicon and includes investment from Prosperity7 Ventures, Orbit Venture Partners, Crosslink Capital, Nosterra Ventures and others.

The company, based in San Jose, develops AI-driven products for platform security, energy-efficient infrastructure and secure compute at the chip level.

The latest investment will accelerate Axiado’s product development and support global go-to-market growth across cloud, telecom and edge environments.

Chip-level control for secure infrastructure

At the centre of Axiado’s offering is its Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU) – a secure, AI-enabled chip that combines compute, control and monitoring functions within a single hardware platform.

Designed for data centre and cloud-scale infrastructure, the TCU provides continuous sensing, processing and autonomous actions to enable self-managing and resilient systems.

Gopi Sirineni, Founder, President and CEO of Axiado, says: "The strong response to our Series C+ round is a clear validation from our customers and partners that AI-driven, hardware-anchored security is now a foundational requirement for today's data centres."

The funding will support the expansion of sales, marketing and support operations, as well as the development of next-generation products.

It will also enable deeper strategic engagement with OEM and ODM partners to increase deployment into commercial data centre environments globally.

Axiado has already grown its international footprint by doubling headcount in Taiwan and India, opening a new office in India and expanding the company’s overall team by 40%. These efforts are aligned with broader plans to support global scale in 2026 and beyond.

Industry support for AI infrastructure

As AI workloads become more compute-intensive and complex, operators require security that can perform in real time at the infrastructure level.

Axiado’s TCU is designed to address that requirement by combining trusted silicon with intelligent management that can optimise power and cooling alongside security enforcement.

Andrew Homan, Managing Partner at Maverick Silicon, says: "As AI workloads continue to transform and push the limits of data centre infrastructure, the need for hardware-anchored security has never been greater.

“Axiado's TCU not only protects infrastructure from threats in real time but also helps optimise power and cooling. We're proud to support their mission to build secure, intelligent and sustainable, AI-ready computing environments."

The company positions its approach as essential for AI-focused cloud platforms, where power efficiency and operational resilience must be delivered at scale.

Axiado’s chip architecture allows secure control and monitoring to run autonomously and independently of primary compute resources.

Abishek Shukla, Managing Director at Prosperity7 Ventures US

Abishek Shukla, Managing Director at Prosperity7 Ventures US, says: "At Prosperity, we invest in technologies that create the foundation for safe and responsible AI.

“Axiado's AI-driven TCU architecture and its innovations in secure, energy-aware system management perfectly align with that vision.

“As AI systems become increasingly autonomous and compute-intensive, Axiado's ability to blend silicon-level trust with intelligent power optimisation and system management positions it at the forefront of a more secure and sustainable digital future."

Executive leadership and influence

One investor in Axiado’s project includes Lip-Bu Tan, CEO of Intel Corporation, who brings extensive experience from the semiconductor and data infrastructure sectors.

His involvement signals strong support for Axiado’s technology direction and its integration into the broader silicon ecosystem.

Writing on LinkedIn Lip-Bu says: “Congrats Gopi on closing US$100 million Series C+ round and I am pleased to be an investor and be part of Axiado journey together.”
