David Watkins, Solutions Director at VIRTUS Data Centres

David works alongside many customers to provide them with customised and innovative solutions as the Solutions Director at VIRTUS Data Centres.

David joined the organisation in 2009 as its Head of Operations.

🎤At Data Centre LIVE, David will feature on our ‘AI-Ready Infrastructure’ panel alongside Lex Coors, Chief Datacentree Technology & Eng. Officer at Digital Realty, Karl Havard, Chief Operating Officer at Nscale and Bardiya Monzavi, AI & BFSI Marketing and Business Development Executive at AQ Compute.

This panel discussion will explore how we can enhance infrastructure to meet the growing demand for data centres to be capable of supporting high-performance computing, real-time data processing and AI workloads. Jason Carolan, Chief Innovation Officer at Flexential

After having acquired over 25 years of experience in leadership in software engineering, product architecture, support and technical sales across many countries, Jason Carolan is now the Chief Innovation Officer at Flexential.

In this role, he provides leading insights into technology and product evolution in our dynamic industry and remains at the forefront of the organisation’s customer-driven innovation and advisory programs office.

Jason has many patents in data centre resource management, security, virtualisation and networking and is also the lead author of ‘Building N1 Grid Solutions’ - one of the debut books to spotlight the combined use of automation and virtualisation.

🎤At Data Centre LIVE, Jason will be leveraging his extensive experience to deliver a fireside chat titled ‘Data Centres of the Future: Sustainability, Scalability, and Security.’
